This groundbreaking project aims to redefine luxury rail travel by blending opulence with Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural heritage.

Train Specifications and Design

  • Carriages & Suites: The Desert Dream will feature 14 carriages and 34 luxury suites, offering travelers an exclusive and intimate experience.
  • Interior Design: Designed by architect Aline Asmar d’Amman of Culture in Architecture, the interiors combine modern elegance with traditional Saudi influences. The design incorporates earthy tones, rich textiles, and intricate details inspired by Madain Saleh and Hail.
  • Luxury Amenities: Passengers can enjoy high-end accommodations, fine dining with local and international cuisines, and curated entertainment options.

A Scenic Journey Through Saudi Arabia

The Desert Dream will operate on the Northern Railway network, departing from Riyadh and passing through regions known for their breathtaking landscapes and cultural landmarks. This journey offers travelers a unique way to explore Saudi Arabia’s desert beauty in unparalleled comfort.

Launch & Vision

The Desert Dream, which will begin operations by Q3 2026, aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and supports the Kingdom’s high-end tourism and cultural development goals. Booking details and exclusive travel packages will be announced soon.
