Jeddah — The Public Security Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Sami Al-Shuwairekh said that any person caught trying to perform Hajj without an official permit would be fined SR10,000.
He added this is a strict implementation of Hajj instructions. The Hajj rules require people wishing to perform Hajj to obtain a permit from the competent authorities.

The spokesman asked all citizens and residents to abide by Hajj instructions. Al-Shuwairekh stressed that the security personnel would perform their duties on all roads and streets leading to the Grand Mosque and the Holy Sites to avert any violation.
