The Digital Cards Ensure Disabled People Priority Access to Services
Riyadh: MHRSD has issued two digital cards for people with autism and other disabilities to avail of its digital services. MHRSD is the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development
The two cards are available for download with the Ministry’s mobile app. The “Digital Autism” card is for people with autism, and the “Digital Erkab” is for people with disabilities.
The “Digital Autism” card will give users access to priority services at hospitals, healthcare centers, and other public facilities. The card identifies the beneficiaries and facilitates their movement in public places.
The MHRSD disability “Digital Erkab” cardholders and their escorts are eligible for concessions in ticket and travel fees for public transport. Cardholders varying in their disability can get up to a 50% reduction in prices and fares.
